Ingraffea Timber Frame Entry

We always love it when timber frame clients have a connection to the wood we are framing with.  On this particular job, several nice oak, ash and pine trees needed to be taken down for the new construction Passive House (built by Ironwood Builders).  The homeowners had them custom milled and we hand cut this beautiful and massive timber frame entryway.  It was a little unusual to install the truss after the roof overhang was in place, but our friend Morgan Thompson and his crane helped us nestle it into place (with just an inch to spare on either side)
