Liz Coakley’s tiny house was the project that spawned the creation of both Hammerstone School and Hammerstone Builders.  Liz approached us in January of 2013 wanting to know what it would take to build her own tiny house.  Instead of sending her to one of the 2-day tiny house workshops you can find around the country, we decided to create our own carpentry for women program with our first classes organized around the construction of her house.  As you can see, the results were more than satisfying.  The classes framed and trimmed the tiny house.  All the additional construction was done by Hammerstone Builders and Liz herself.
