Bitty Bot Tiny House
- Tiny house construction
- Hammerstone School class project
Bitty Bot was the course project for Hammerstone: Carpentry for Women’s 2016 Framing and Trim courses. The rest of construction was completed by Hammerstone Builders.
Bitty Bot was designed as a tiny guest cottage. It is intended for visitors to stay in for shorter lengths of time, rather than for full time tiny living. It was also designed to showcase the craftspersonship of our students and contracting crew. It has architectural and trim elements reminiscent of the Greek Revival style houses that are ubiquitous in the upstate New York area where Bitty Bot was constructed.
The floor plan includes:
- Full sized bed “room” (mattress not included)
- Galley kitchen
- Bathroom including shower and compost toilet
- Sitting “room”
